That was the 7th WCSQ in Lima
The 7th World Conference for Software Quality – which took place from March 20th-22nd, 2017 in Lima, Peru and brought together international software experts, thought leaders, innovative practitioners and inspiring speakers from industry and academia. Three days of remarkable keynotes, intensive sessions, practical tutorials and workshops, EXPO and an incredible social event made up this unique event.
The International Software Quality Institute (iSQI) was there as an event host (together with the Hispanic America Software Testing Qualification Board (HASTQB)) and as an exhibitor. Twenty-one sponsors were at the trade exhibition and used it for inspiring discussions and meetings with new and existing partners. The exhibitors were satisfied with the organisation and realisation of the conference.
For the 7th WCSQ there were one hundred submission. So the organisation team could choose 48 presentations and 6 tutorials for the participants. The speaker came from 25 countries to Lima and shared their expertise with over 400 participants from more than 40 countries.
The conference audience had the possibility to vote for the Best Presentation Award out of 48 presentations from inspiring speakers. The award was handed over by Stephan Goericke, CEO iSQI Group and program chair EMEA at the 7th WCSQ, to Erik van Veenendaal. He persuaded the audience with his tutorial about “Test Process Improvement with TMMi – also in the Agile era!”.
The participants were also able to join a social events with Peruvian flair, where they could come together for networking and discussions.
After such an exciting event, iSQI looks forward to the 8th WCSQ which will take part in 2020 in Asia.
